Established in 1999 through the city’s Park Land Dedication Ordinance, Braden Park is located on an island in the middle of the Covington Park subdivision off East Township Street in east Fayetteville. This 2.25-acre park was named after a community that existed in the area throughout the 1800s. The park was funded in part by a grant from the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism’s Outdoor Recreation Grants.
Braden Park has a small parking area with room for two vehicles along Worthington Way. Other vehicles must be parked along the roads surrounding the park.
There is a small playground area with two climbing tools (see photos below).
